Do you often overhear conversations at family gatherings how the ageing folks keep saying they need to lay off the foods that have high cholesterol content? So do I. I've heard so many people say their blood cholesterol gets pretty high because of the cholesterol-laden stuff they eat from day to day, but I've also heard of people who've avoided cholesterol like the plague and still suffer from high level of cholesterol in the blood. Are you one of those people? Do you know somebody who struggles with high cholesterol despite avoiding it conscientiously? Maybe you could share this with someone who does.
A friend of mine recently showed me something very interesting. In this big book she showed me, it says:

Then, that changes everything. That makes everybody who've spoken about it around me, uhm, flat out wrong. That explains why the entire market for statins, Lipitor especially, is huge – because the metaphorical tap is not only left open to flood the inside of the house, nobody's noticing it as well!
It's sad that we don't hear more experts give detailed advice on this. I don't think I've ever heard a doctor make a distinction between food that is high in cholesterol and food high in saturated fat, as if the patient wouldn't be able to use such information anyway.
It's about time we began making a habit of reading nutrition labels on the food we buy, and shun the stuff that's got a lot of high saturated fat.
Would you like some fries on your mayonnaise? Neither do I.
Tell your loved ones about this, okay?
